Dear Washington Drivers
My first post is unfortunately a rant. I have a small favor to ask of Washington drivers. The next time a couple inches of snow fall, please do not treat it like the end of days. This is frozen precipitation falling, not fireballs from the depths of hell. When we had our last bout of snow, it seemed like 50% of my community holed themselves in their homes as if the minute they pulled their car out of the garage it would be barraged by stray Volkswagens. It's OKAY. You can drive! Area's in this country get feet of snow every year. Do you think they stop everything and wait for it to go away? This morning about an inch fell, which meant a centimeter on the roads, and one my way to work people were driving 4 MPH. It makes no sense. They're roads! Drive on them!
